Compute, explained

VPS or VDS? Choose by the job, not the acronym

Both give you a Linux server. The difference is how much room and consistency your project needs.

NAT VPS

A low-cost workshop for smaller projects

Great for learning Linux, bots, small websites, APIs, development environments, and experiments that deserve a real server without a large bill.

You connect through assigned ports. A dedicated public IPv4 address is optional, not quietly bundled into the base price.

VDS

More breathing room for work that has grown up

Choose VDS when the project needs more consistent compute, a busier database, several active services, or simply fewer compromises as it grows.

It costs more because you receive a larger share of the machine. No mystery, just more room.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you spend anything.

Who is behind SetoTower?

We are students who gained access to datacenter infrastructure and decided to put it to useful work. SetoTower is our way of making practical hosting easier to try, with clear limits and prices that stay close to the real cost.

Where are SetoTower services hosted?

Services run in datacenter environments available through the SetoTower network. The relevant service page tells you the location and access details you need. We keep host-level security and network details private, as a responsible provider should.

How do you keep server prices so low?

When we already have useful compute capacity, we price it with a deliberately thin margin. Some resources, especially dedicated public IPv4 addresses and extra storage, have a direct cost and are priced separately instead of being hidden inside every plan.

What is the difference between a NAT VPS and a VDS?

A NAT VPS is the budget-friendly choice for smaller projects and uses assigned network ports instead of its own public IPv4 address. A VDS gives you a larger, more consistent share of compute resources for workloads that need more room and predictability.

How does payment and activation work?

Canvas creates an invoice when you place an order. Pay within 24 hours and upload your proof of payment. We verify it, approve the invoice, and move the service into activation. Renewals are issued seven days before expiry.

Is OMail really free?

Yes. You can use your own domain or an available SetoTower-provided domain for a professional email identity without buying a server first. There is no trial countdown hiding behind the curtain.

Build the first version. It does not have to be the final one.

Choose a server that fits today, keep the bill understandable, and leave tomorrow some room to surprise you.
